Welcome! I'm Kim Schroeder, a contemporary painter and artist who believes in the tranformative power of art. My work explores the intersection of nature and human emotion, the beauty of bold strokes, the stories we tell ourselves, and energetic landscapes. The tranquility of the sea along with personal experience drives my inspiration.

My artistic journey began in childhood when I first picked up a pencil, later growing into a lifelong passion nurtured through personal exploration. Over the years, I've exhibited in galleries, taught in art classes, collaborated with other artists, and remained dedicated to creating work that resonates deeply with others.

My process through each piece begins with viewing light and color in the outdoors and attempting to replicate my mood on the canvas with bold strokes and heavy oil paint. I also find joy in watercolor and acrylic.
